Our History

Some sixteen years ago we were fortunate enough to be able to pursue our dream of building and operating a special type of exclusive lodge in a unique part of Africa.

Ichingo Chobe River Lodge was the result, right on the Chobe River at the confluence with the Zambezi River, - a perfect setting and place to live. We never looked back as we constantly made new friends, many of whom continue to return time after time.

In order to enjoy the beauty of the whole area even further, we then built and successfully launched the two Ichobezi Luxury Safariboats, giving guests a great new opportunity to explore the rivers, channels and floodplains that make up this very special corner of Africa.
